Aggregation helps monitoring, security, and acceleration tools gain greater visibility with traffic capture. However, as capture points increase, so does analytic tool port over-subscription. The solution is to move from traffic capture to traffic access. This is accomplished with intelligent traffic access switches, also known as network intelligence optimization hardware (or vNodes).
