vStack over IP provides users with the ability to encapsulate vStack+ in TCP and utilize an IP network to logically provide a port-to-port connection, essentially delivering an encrypted vMesh solution over any IP network. vStack over IP can be used within any network at a single location or across multiple campuses utilizing cloud infrastructure as part of a WAN. Stack ports are simply connected to the local infrastructure, where the network intelligence layer sends and delivers traffic utilizing the proprietary VSS TCP/IP encapsulation.
This provides secure traffic delivery across multiple campuses without the need for the vNodes to be physically connected. It expands traffic access, delivery, and visibility to any network monitoring appliance, thereby delivering unprecedented scalability, enabling centralized network monitoring from any point in the world, accommodating conditions such as resource migration to alternate datacenters, service delivery path changes, and tool farm failover and mitigation.
