VSS Monitoring offers both 10 GigEigabit capture tools as well as Gigabit/10 GigE hybrid capture tools in a variety of port densities and feature options.
These tools are locally manageable via a serial console and remotely manageable via Telnet, HTTP/HTTPS, and SNMPv3. A graphical user interface offers users a simple, intuitive way to manage all settings.

Filter options enable screening of the monitor traffic to ensure zero packet-loss during aggregation as well as increased input capacity. Session-Aware Load Balancing offers an intelligent option for distributing the traffic to multiple monitor interfaces without breaking up sessions within the traffic.
Redundant power supplies allow seamless transitions between power systems and maximize uptime. All VSS managed devices support in field firmware updates for additional features and performance enhancements.
