Distributed Tap
VSS Monitoring은 네트워크 모니터링 툴의 최대치를 활용할 수 있도록 Aggregation과 Selective Aggregation 기술을 선도하여 왔다. 그 중 Filtering은 네트워크 디바이스의 지적 능력을 새로운 차원으로 끌어올리는 기술로, 더 이상 불필요한 패킷을 모니터링 툴이 모두 처리해야 하는 불편함을 없애주고 관심 있는 패킷만을 선택하여 진행시키므로 필요없는 패킷으로 인한 네트워크 과부하를 방지한다.

이 기능은 Upstream Aggregation의 트래픽을 현저히 감소시키므로 포트 수를 늘리기 위해 Distributed Tap 여러 대를 사용해도 네트워크에 무리를 주지 않을 수 있다.

8PortDistributedTap은유동적인트래픽캡쳐툴로8개의UTP포트로되어있으며,각포트는SPANinput또는모니터툴로의Output으로설정할수있다.

디바이스의매니지먼트인터페이스를통해각포트를Input이나Output으로,Aggregation과Filter옵션적용등을갂편하게설정할수있다.
