The 2x1 10/100/1000 Aggregation Tap allows the fail-safe pass through of duplex data over standard UTP Cat 5 cable. Employing 3.5MB of memory, the aggregation feature of this Tap enables a user to monitor two duplex links on a single transmit-only monitoring port.
VSS monitoring's ‘Link Safe' feature enables link failures to be observed by network elements both sides of the Tap thereby enabling routers and switches to execute redundancy whenever such failures occur.
Featuring auto negotiation for network speed and data reclocking this Tap surpasses all others in its class for performance, flexibility and affordability. Multiple LEDs indicate power, link, speed and erroneous or problematic configurations.
