The 1x12 Gigabit LX-SX Fiber Tap allows the uninterrupted pass through of full duplex data over singlemode fiber cable. Decoding the optical signals this device reclocks the data and electronically replicates multiple exact copies (including line errors) to eight transmit-only multimode monitoring ports. A user is then able to monitor a full duplex 1310nm singlemode network with up to 12 no. Multimode devices thus enabling multiple forms of network analysis and security detection on any one link at one time.

In addition the Gigabit 1x12 LX-SX Tap reclocks the data so as to maximize the signal quality and power throughput. Multiple LEDs indicate power and link status for easy installation and troubleshooting with connected network equipment.
