Description
NCUA ( National Credit Union Administration) in response to Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), issued a revision to its Rules and Regulations where it incorporated "Guidelines for Safeguarding Member Information" to assist credit unions in determining how to best protect their members' data.
It requires the development of a security program:
1. Identify Security Policies and Procedures
2. Identify Systems and Services
3. Identify the risks and threats
4. Determine the likelihood risk/threats could occur
5. Develop policies and procedures
6. Review policies and procedures
