| Summary |
Because of the difficulties involved in maintaining network security and performance
standards, many enterprises find its most cost effective and manageable option is to
contract a third party to monitor its network.
In most cases, when a company discovers a need for a monitoring tool it is free to take steps to
deploy that tool within its own network infrastructure; however, in cases where an enterprise
has outsourced the management and monitoring of its network, even minor changes can be
